A Scottish professional golfer named Carly Booth qualified for the Ladies European Tour at the end of 2009 at the age 17, making her the youngest Scot to do so.

She was born to Filipino parents in Los Angeles, California. At age 8, she started playing golf, and she went to Torrance High School in Torrance, California. Runas participated actively in the school's golf and soccer teams all through high school. 

She continued playing golf for the Aggies while a student at the University of California, Davis. After finishing college, Runas began working as a professional in 2014. 

She hasn't won an LPGA Tour competition, although she has had a number of top-10 performances, notably coming in second in the Circling Raven Championship in 2021.


7. Sharmila Nicollet

Indian professional golfer Sharmila Nicollet hails from Bangalore. In state and national aquatic competitions from 1997 to 2001, she earned over 72 gold and silver medals, making her a former national sub-junior swimming champion.
